About me

My name is Erik Kajáti. I am at my fourth year of PhD study at Technical University of Košice, Slovakia. My points of study are Industry 4.0, Cyber-Physical Systems (CPS), Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT), Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE), Intelligent Interoperability, Operator 4.0, Computer Vision. I am also a hobby photographer.

  •    KEGA 001TUKE-4/2015 - CyberLabTrainSystem - demonstrational and training of information-control systems - innovation


  •    CASTLE - Comfortable and SmarT Living Expanded - In this project, we have built a model of a smart house where we embed smart sensors and actuators. We have implemented cloud services which control all processes in this house like lights, windows, heating etc.

  •    IoT Cloud Control – Smart Living and Smart Manufacturing - We received a grant for 10 000 euros which we can spend on cloud services at Azure. We are working on concept of intelligent industrial gateway that focuses on data acquisition, integration and control of processes in the industry. In this concept, we are also implementing machine-learning services for predictive control.


  •    CHECkuP – Cognitive HEalthCare Platform - In this project, we proposed a concept of smart insulin pump and platform for patients with spinal cord injuries. We want to implement cognitive services like IBM Watson to proposed Healthcare solution.


  •    Vision Lab - In this project we have focused on computer vision and object identification in laboratory enviroment. We have used stereo camera vision for identification and localization of the objects for one of the largest steel company in Slovakia.
